1) Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing GhostArb, or running scans, you agree to these Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.
- These terms cover GhostArb web, mobile, and related API-backed product features.
- If you do not agree, do not use GhostArb.
- You must use GhostArb only where lawful in your jurisdiction.
2) What GhostArb Does
GhostArb is a software tool that scans supported marketplaces and generates AI-assisted pricing and risk signals.
- GhostArb does not execute purchases, sales, shipping, inspections, or payment collection on your behalf.
- Listings and prices can be delayed, incomplete, or removed by the source platform.
- Scan outputs are informational signals, not guaranteed outcomes.
3) Accounts and Security
You are responsible for your GhostArb account activity and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- GhostArb account sign-in and authentication are separate from third-party marketplace accounts.
- You are responsible for keeping your contact and alert settings accurate.
- GhostArb may suspend access for abuse, fraud risk, security risk, or legal compliance needs.
4) Marketplace Rules and Acceptable Use
Marketplaces and external platforms each have their own terms, restrictions, and enforcement policies.
- You are responsible for complying with marketplace terms and applicable law.
- Do not use GhostArb to bypass access controls, checkpoints, CAPTCHAs, or other technical restrictions.
- GhostArb may stop or degrade scans when a platform blocks, throttles, or challenges requests.
5) Marketplace Credentials
GhostArb does not require your marketplace usernames/passwords and does not run an in-app marketplace login flow.
- GhostArb does not intentionally store marketplace credentials.
- GhostArb does not intentionally store or replay marketplace account sessions/cookies to perform account actions.
- Marketplace request routing may use third-party request infrastructure where configured.
6) AI and Risk Disclosures
AI valuations and confidence metrics are probabilistic outputs and may be incorrect for real-world buying/selling decisions.
- Condition, authenticity, demand, and resale timing predictions can be wrong.
- Confidence scores are decision support signals, not guarantees.
- GhostArb is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
7) Billing, Credits, and Refunds
Paid plans and top-ups may be processed by third-party payment providers. Product usage consumes credits according to in-app billing rules.
- Scan and AI-vision operations can debit credits.
- Certain no-result or interrupted run outcomes may trigger automatic credit refunds.
- Plan prices, limits, and included credits may change over time.
8) Data We Collect
GhostArb stores account and product-operation data required to provide scanning, alerts, personalization, and billing features.
- Account and settings data: user id/email, filters, terms, plan settings, and legal acknowledgment status.
- Scan data: listing metadata, listing URLs, thumbnails, and AI analysis payloads.
- Optional alert-contact data: push token, email, SMS number, and Discord webhook (if provided by you).
9) Data Minimization and PII Controls
GhostArb applies data minimization and sanitization controls, but no automated system can guarantee perfect removal of all sensitive data.
- Seller profile fields (for example seller name/profile photo keys) are blocked from stored scan payloads.
- Obvious phone numbers and emails are redacted from stored listing/analysis text on a best-effort basis.
- Marketplace credentials are not intentionally collected or stored.
10) How We Use Data
We use collected data to operate and improve GhostArb, deliver features you enable, and keep the service reliable and secure.
- Run scans, rank opportunities, and present AI-assisted valuation outputs.
- Send alerts and notifications through selected channels.
- Support billing, abuse prevention, operational monitoring, and service diagnostics.
11) Retention and Deletion
GhostArb retains operational data only as long as needed for product operation, support, security, and billing records, then purges or compacts records through scheduled retention jobs.
- Alert records can be auto-archived and later purged by retention policy windows.
- Pinned alerts or alerts with keep-until timestamps may be retained longer.
- Scan and cache data may be deleted after configured retention intervals.
12) Third-Party Services
GhostArb depends on external providers for infrastructure and feature delivery, and those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Examples include authentication/database infrastructure, payment processing, AI inference, and request-routing providers.
- Provider outages, policy changes, or enforcement actions can affect GhostArb availability or feature behavior.
- GhostArb is not responsible for third-party terms, content, or platform actions outside GhostArb control.
13) Intellectual Property and License
GhostArb software and product content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and remain owned by GhostArb and its licensors.
- You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use GhostArb for lawful internal use.
- Do not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or misuse GhostArb beyond permitted use.
- Marketplace content remains subject to the rights of its original owners and platforms.
14) Disclaimers and Liability Limits
GhostArb is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- GhostArb disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- You are solely responsible for transactions, inspections, shipping, taxes, compliance, and platform account outcomes.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, GhostArb is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses from your use of the service.
15) Changes, Suspension, and Termination
GhostArb may update these terms, modify product features, or suspend/terminate access when necessary for product, security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
- Updated terms are effective when published with a new Last Updated date.
- Continuing to use GhostArb after changes means you accept the updated terms.
- If you violate these terms, access can be restricted or terminated.
